Blending expressive typography with utilitarian typesetting, this design systems project explores both brand aspects and functionality. In this Figma-based project, I'm creating a clickable prototype for an online index, focusing on archiving 'Type in the Wild.'
This index involves curating a library of images, offering users a searchable exploration of typographic content. Through UX/UI methodologies, I crafted a dynamic experience that navigates the intersection of design aesthetics and functional typography.

Defining a visual strategy based on content, I ensured a cohesive voice, consistent image treatment, and explored type pairings, including variable fonts, foundry considerations, and form. This approach aimed at establishing a foundation for the subsequent design phases, integrating thoughtful research into the visual identity of the micro-type index.
The final deliverable for this project is a meticulously crafted, Figma-based clickable prototype that serves as an immersive and dynamic exploration of micro-typography within domestic spaces.
The prototype goes beyond mere functionality; it encapsulates the essence of stumbling upon information, mimicking the experience of discovering unexpected treasures in a physical archive or library requiring users to search for items within each environment inside the home.

Colors & Typography
Throughout the design systems project, I gained insights into blending expressive and utilitarian aspects of typography, understanding the significance of design systems in creating a cohesive user experience.
The process reinforced the value of organization and accessibility in design, providing users with an efficient and enjoyable journey through the diverse realm of micro-typography in everyday home settings.
